Frédéric Van Espen joined Didier & Rosalinde in the late 1990s.

After several years in the salon, Rosalinde entrusted him with the future of Didier & Rosalinde.

In 2013, Frédéric received an unexpected call: Queen Mathilde of Belgium, then Princess, wished to work with him.
Since first styling her hair during her time as a princess, he has continued to accompany her in preparing for her official appearances as Queen, creating her hairstyles for events of international significance.
A recognition that reflects the precision and mastery of his work.
In 2017, a meaningful encounter marked a new phase in Frédéric’s journey.
He gradually surrounded himself with new talents who shared the same standards and vision of the craft.
An evolution that enriched his perspective and contributed to the continued growth of the Maison.
In 2018, Frédéric brought new energy to Didier & Rosalinde by relocating the salon to Avenue Louise.
A space designed as a natural extension of his vision — more open, more vibrant, while remaining true to the spirit of the Maison.

In 2024, Frédéric broadened the Maison’s vision by embracing a more holistic approach to beauty.
The introduction of new treatments, particularly focused on skincare, enriched the overall experience with coherence and balance.
At the same time, he founded The School by Didier & Rosalinde, with the ambition to pass on his expertise and train the next generation.
In 2026, Frédéric continued to develop the Maison by strengthening his team.
New talents joined the salon, bringing energy, precision and a strong sense of service.
