An iconic place in Brussels, Didier & Rosalinde is a living House driven by passion, transmission and a constant desire to evolve. For decades, its story has been shaped and passed on through a savoir-faire that continuously reinvents itself while staying true to its roots, in a warm and authentic atmosphere. In 1960, Didier and Rosalinde moved to Brussels as close collaborators of the renowned Alexandre de Paris, an iconic figure in French hairdressing. Alongside him, they developed a strong sense of precision and a vision of the craft that would shape the salon’s identity for decades to come. In 1966, they founded their own salon, laying the foundations of a House destined to stand the test of time.
In 2003, Frédéric Van Espen took over the salon, having grown within it as a young hairdresser alongside Rosalinde. She quickly recognised his unique potential and guided him with both high standards and genuine care. More than a transmission, it was a relationship built on deep trust, giving this transition a truly human and natural dimension.
Today, Didier & Rosalinde is driven by a dedicated team, united by a shared sense of detail, service and hospitality. The salon continues to evolve with its time while remaining true to what defines it: a living heritage, a constant pursuit of excellence, and a distinctive vision of hairdressing. A place apart, where tradition and movement coexist in perfect balance.
Frédéric Van Espen now carries forward the legacy of Didier & Rosalinde. Having joined the salon at a young age, he trained and grew alongside Rosalinde, in a relationship shaped by trust and transmission. There, he developed his own vision of hairdressing, guided by precision, attentiveness and respect for each individual. Today, he continues to evolve the salon with sensitivity, remaining deeply faithful to what defines its soul.
